App of the Week: Turn your text into videos!

If you've ever opened a video editor, think Adobe Premiere, stared at the video timeline, and quietly whispered “nope” then this one's for you.

“How to” of the Week: Setting up Default Instructions

Setting up “Default Instructions” is the secret power that turns your future ChatGPT conversations into a much more impactful and efficient operator. Just head to ChatGPT and set up simple instructions on how you want the AI to work for you (and not the other way around).

1. Define a Consistent Tone
Set a friendly, professional tone that matches your brand and voice.
- Example: "Always respond in a warm, professional tone suitable for customers."

2. Ensure Accuracy and Safety
Instruct the LLM to stick to facts.
- Example: "Provide accurate answers only and avoid advice not grounded in facts or data."

3. Keep Responses Concise
Ask for short, clear answers to save time.
- Example: "Keep all responses under 100 words unless I specify otherwise."

To set up Default Instructions in ChatGPT:

Open ChatGPT (make sure you’re logged in).

1. Click on your name or profile icon in the bottom-left corner.

2. Select "Customize ChatGPT" 

3. You'll see fields under "Custom Instructions", which include:

   • What would you like ChatGPT to know about you to provide better responses?

   • How would you like ChatGPT to respond?

4. Fill in or edit your preferences. 

5. Hit "Save" when you're done.
